Legislative Hub

The Indiana Association of Cities and Towns believes that government services, such as economic development, community development, environmental quality, transportation and public safety are best delivered when cities and towns self-govern in a manner that meets the needs of the citizens in their community. Annually, the IACT membership reviews its pubic policy positions to ensure they are current and reflect the principles of local home rule.  

Each year at the IACT Annual Conference and Exhibition, members have an opportunity to comment on and approve IACT's Policy Platform that is recommended by the Board of Directors.
