Indiana Downtown
Indiana Downtown® is offered by the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns in partnership with HyettPalma, Inc., and is based on the highly successful America Downtown® technical assistance program, offered by the National League of Cities and HyettPalma since 1992. The program is an economic development and downtown revitalization tool that assists cities and towns by creating a Downtown Action Agenda specifically tailored to each community, which includes:- a vision of downtown's future, as defined by the community
- a market analysis quantifying downtown's retail, office, and housing potentials
- a recommended course of action to be implemented over the next five years by the private and public sectors
- management recommendations regarding a downtown partnership and funding.
Those interested in bringing the Indiana Downtown® Program to their community may contact the IACT office at (317) 237-6200.
Current Participants in the Indiana Downtown® Program are:
