2009 Salary, Wage and Fringe Benefits Survey back

The Indiana Association of Cities and Towns (IACT) understands our role in providing our members with accurate research information and the tools to help you be the most effective leader you can be. Each year IACT completes a Salary, Wage and Fringe Benefit Survey. The results of the survey can assist IACT members in preparing budgets and can serve as a reference tool when key hiring decisions are made. We are currently preparing the 2009 survey, which will be compiled by IACT staff and distributed to all communities who participate.

The results of the survey will be available at the end of May; therefore we ask that you promptly respond by providing IACT with the following information by Tuesday, March 31:

  • The completed survey; and
  • A copy of the salary ordinance(s) that sets the 2009 salaries for your municipality. This could include up to three ordinances for 1) Elected Officials, 2) Appointed Officials and Civilian Employees, and 3) Police and Fire Department Members.
To participate in the 2009 IACT Salary, Wage and Fringe Benefit Survey, please fax or mail your completed survey to the attention of Pam Phillips. Submit your survey by fax to (317) 237-6206 or mail your survey results to IACT, 200 S. Meridian St., Suite 340, Indianapolis, IN 46225. You may also email an electronic copy of your survey results to Pam at: pphillips@citiesandtowns.org. There are elctronic copies of the survey available below.
